What You Should Know about Windows 8
Microsoft has recently been advertising the many benefits that Windows 8 will have over all other operating systems including Windows XP, Vista and, 7 OS. As countless individuals and businesses prepare themselves for this upgrade, many are wondering exactly how different Windows 8 will be when compared to their current options. Here is a look at just a few of the changes of Windows 8 and which devices may benefit from an upgrade.
As Windows was developing their release for 8, they set off to create an option that would span multiple devices and offer complete compatibility. This includes tablet PCs, netbooks, laptops, desktops, and even smartphones. With this in mind, the Windows 8 operating system now offers more ergonomic options for those that will be using touchscreens.
Much like the Mac products, Windows 8 will also come standard with an app market known as the Windows Store. This store not only provides customers with basic apps and programs, it also offers various media ranging from books and magazines to TV shows and movies. Users will also be able to have instant access to SkyDrive, Microsoft’s own personal cloud server. Despite this new addition of technology, users should continue to back up important files with blank media CD R products.
For those that are wondering if they should download this new OS, it is important to consider the type of device on which it will be downloaded and the importance of a cloud server. These two features will often dictate who purchases this product.
